How do I make appointments?
Since I do not have a receptionist in my office, I rely on my
telephone voice-mail box and
e-Psych Mail to communicate with
clients. I will call you at the phone number(s) you leave me
usually within 1-2 hours after you call and find a time mutually
suitable for us to meet.
If the situation is an emergency for you, dial "0" after you
call the office number (913-901-9110) and a live operator will
page me so that I can get back to you as soon as possible. If
that doesn't work for you, go to the nearest hospital emergency
room.

When is the office open?
I have office hours Tuesday to Friday each week. I work Tuesday
and Thursday evenings until 8 pm. I can meet as early as 7 am
any of these days. My last hour
Wednesdays and Fridays is at 5 pm.
What are the fees for counseling/consultation and how do they get paid?
My fee for a clinical session is $125.00. The fee is the same
regardless of the number of people in the session.
I prefer clients to pay as they go, session by session. At the
conclusion of each session, I provide a detailed receipt that
has all the information insurance companies need to reimburse
you. All you need do is submit the receipt to your insurance
company to activate coverage on an out-of-network basis. I am
not part of any HMO or managed care panel of providers, so you
may want to contact your insurance company to see what the
amount of coverage will be and how to best get the reimbursement
process started.
If the pay-as-you-go option doesn't work for you, I'll discuss
other possibilities with you when we meet. I will work with you
to get the job done, one way or the other. What I
don't want is for the money to run my clinical work.
Fees for business consultations are based on a daily rate.
